A creative (financing) real estate journey with John Bucklew || Military Cashflow Podcast #120

John purchased his first live-in flip in October 2015, but started getting serious about real estate in December 2020 and began a furious self-education through podcasts such as Military Cashflow and Bigger Pockets.

In March 2021 he purchased both a single-family and his first multi-family rental. On October 15th he closed on an off-market seven property portfolio with 18 units, bringing his total to 14 properties and 29 units.

By using a small amount of cash, and numerous creative financing options, as well as value, add projects, he has been able to scale at an incredible pace.

He is currently working on two assignments of contract deals and working a HELOC on his portfolio to take out cash on his equity earned to scale into a small apartment building.
